Gutter repair
Re-pitching sagging runs, resealing leaking corner seams, refastening hangers that have pulled loose, and adding downspouts where a run overflows. If water is getting behind the gutter, the fascia board it hangs from may be damaged too. Clogged gutters that have stopped draining get cleared, and we look at the pitch and fasteners while we’re up there. Repair is the honest call when the system is sound; when it isn’t, we say so before you spend money patching it.
Gutter replacement or gutter repair?
Repair fixes isolated leaks, loose hangers or a damaged section. Replace when seams leak along the run, the gutter pulls away because the fascia behind it is rotted, or the system is undersized for the roof.

New seamless gutters
Seamless aluminum runs are formed on-site to your home’s exact lengths, then hung and sloped so water reaches the downspouts. The written proposal shows the proposed runs and discharge locations so you understand how water will be routed.

Downspout placement for Florida downpours
Summer storms drop a lot of water in a short time. Downspouts need to be placed where the roof concentrates water, such as below valleys and at the ends of long runs, and discharge away from the foundation, walkways and doors.
Gutters and fascia go together
Gutters hang on the fascia, and the drip edge above them laps over it. Overflow, standing water and loose attachments can come from debris, pitch, connections, drainage capacity or the board behind the gutter. New gutters are only as good as the board behind them
Ask the inspection to assess the fascia and gutter attachments together. If supporting material is damaged, the quote should explain what needs repair before new gutters are attached.
Some conditions may only become visible after removal. Ask how those findings will be photographed, quoted and approved before additional work proceeds.

Should I repair or replace my gutters?
Repair them when the problem is an isolated leak, a loose hanger or one damaged section. Replace them when seams leak along the run, the gutter pulls away from rotted fascia, or the system is too small for the roof. If a repair will fix it, we'll tell you.
