Gulf County is a Noland's Roofing service area at the eastern end of the storm-response corridor, including Port St. Joe and Wewahitchka. Noland's has no office in the county, and service for a specific property is confirmed from the address.
Permits
The Gulf County Building Department states it has adopted the 2023 Florida Building Code (8th edition). The City of Port St. Joe runs its own Building Department, so properties inside city limits permit with the city. We could not confirm from a first-party source whether Wewahitchka permits separately, so ask the county for any address there.
What to expect from an inspection
For coastal homes, ask for findings on the roof covering, flashing at walls and penetrations, roof edges, exposed metal and any interior moisture. A useful inspection separates what was observed from what could not be checked safely. Read about roof inspections and roof repair, and the Isaias roof-help guide for storm documentation.
